GED Preparation - Free Access to Learning Express Library

When preparing for your GED test, be sure to take advantage of your library's free access to the Learning Express Library. The only requirement for this resource is your library card number and a password you create once you get online. This online resource gives you access to different learning hubs designed to help you increase your current skill level. People of different ages and skill needs can access this resource. When utilizing this resource for your GED, you will notice it is broken into four major sections: practice exams, preparation, skill improvement, and Spanish language. Section One: Practice Exams This section contains practice exams to help you gauge your current proficiency level. It is broken into four sections that help you for each portion of your upcoming exam. Some exams have multiple exams so you can practice different versions and sections of your upcoming test. Section Two: GED Preparation This area contains online material to help during your preparation. This section is broken into your major testing areas: language arts, math, science, writing, and social studies. Each of these areas study strategies, pretest, lessons, and practice test questions. Section Three: Skill Improvement This topic lets you practice what is needed for the GED portion of your exam. It includes an instantly scored practice essay to show you what is required to do well on this section of your test. Four: Spanish Preparation The Spanish section accommodates non-English users as they prepare for this exam. It contains practice exams and preparation resources for this segment of our population.
